The Outward Bound Trust
Volkswagen Group has partnered with The Outward Bound Trust to develop our apprentices with the key concepts of collaboration, teamwork, and customer service.
During the Outward Bound experience, a week-long residential program, apprentices engage in various tasks to develop behaviours aligned with the customer-centric approach of the Volkswagen Group. Throughout the week, the learners focus on building confidence, honing multitasking abilities, fostering collaboration, and enhancing problem-solving skills, all of which improve customer satisfaction at work. Analysis of this programme has revealed that 85% of apprentices have increased their customer awareness, while over 95% have seen improvements in their self-confidence and teamwork capabilities.
