How the programme worksThe Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Advanced Apprenticeship Programme is designed to train and develop apprentices to keep pace with advancing technology and high levels of customer service.
The Programme provides apprentices with an exciting and challenging opportunity to receive formal qualifications through extensive product training whilst in full-time employment. Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles offers you a comprehensive three year Advanced Apprenticeship Training Programme.
On completion, you will have achieved NVQ Level 3, IMI Technical Certificate, Advanced Apprenticeship Completion Certificate and Key or Core Skills Certificates relevant to the chosen specialist area. If you are an apprentice technician, you will also have achieved Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle's own Service Technician qualification and ATA Service and Maintenance Technician qualification.
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has developed and approved the Advanced Apprenticeship Programme structure and will provide vehicles, training rigs, tools and materials to ensure the apprenticeship is relevant to the marque.
You have the choice of two specialist areas which will be undertaken at the dedicated Volkswagen Group Apprentice Learning Centre. The training will be residential and delivered in one-week blocks throughout the Programme.
In addition, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle's own special technical trainers will deliver product specific courses, keeping apprentices up-to-date with Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle's latest technology.
